Take a deep breath for a moment, and imagine this...

It’s your second month inside Embodied Ayurveda. Your alarm goes off in the morning and instead of hitting snooze 5 times, you wake up easily with energy and gratitude in complete control over your morning.

EA as I like to call it, is broken down into 5 distinct "phases" that build upon one another to make learning simple, and create gradual and lasting change.

 

A Personalized Success Path and 1:1 Ayurvedic Consultation is a powerful way to start you EA journey

When you sign up you have the option to upgrade and start your journey with a 90 minute intensive and full Ayurvedic health consultation to get clear on your current Doshic state, goals, and set you up for success within the program.

From here Mel will guide you on your unique path through the program, working through each phase in a way that's in alignment for you.

Phase 1: Alignment + Awareness

The first part of this program is about cultivating awareness, and alignment in your mind, body and spirit.

Module 1: Understanding + Embodying Ayurveda, Discover your Dosha 

The very first thing we do inside the program is get clear on our unique Ayurvedic blueprint, and understand what makes us unique individuals. By learning the foundations of Ayurveda and our Dosha, we will discover how this connects not only to the foods we eat, and the practices we do, but our Dharma, and purpose within life. 

Module 2: Nervous system foundations + an East meets West approach

Once we’ve learned and understood our Dosha, we get a clear understanding of how the nervous system operates and supports the mind-body complex and uncover how our system is currently wired through an east meets west lens. We will look at Polyvagal theory and the Gunas to help us establish rituals and practice to help us shift into an optimized state

We will create a precise outline for how to appropriately use the tools of Yoga and Ayurveda to align with the current state of our nervous and energetic systems.

Module 3: Creating Daily rituals + dialing in peak performance habits (Dinacharya)

Habits create the foundation for the rest of the program, so there is a huge emphasis on habit change inside of our program. In this section we will help you create and identify daily rituals and routines that are in alignment with your Dosha, and that are supportive for your lifestyle.

But more importantly, I will teach you how to re-program your consciousness to make sure you *actually* fulfil on these habits. No more learning more information and not putting it to use. 

Phase 2: Optimizing the physical body

Module 4: Optimizing Agni (digestion) + Nutrition 

If you were trying to get to the moon, you'd need a pretty solid rocket, right? Phase 2 is all about healing digestion, building your resilient rocket ship, and creating a solid foundation of integrity within the body upon which the deeper layers of healing can occur.

Healing the gut supports us in healing our stress, and anxiety from the inside out, and is the missing link in many stress + anxiety management programs!

In this section we will understand our current state of Agni (digestion), and learn the Yogi Fuel Method of nutrition - a unique protocol that blends eastern and western wisdom to create the most comprehensive healing.

Module 5: The Power of Breath work + Pranayama

Breathwork can be one of the most powerful tools and practices when done correctly, but when dont out of alignment can increase our anxiety, stress and overwhelm leaving us more exhausted and depleted.

In this section we we gain a deeper understanding of the POWER of breathwork and pranayama, and how to use these modalities appropriately for our dosha, and current nervous system state. Using on and off the mat practices, we get clear on where our prana/energy is going, where it is leaking, and on the on and off the mat practices we need to be doing to preserve + cultivate prana and balance the nervous system in alignment with our current state of being.

Module 6: Optimizing + aligning our movement practice

Not all practices, and movement programs were created equal. Movement can help us, but if dont incorrectly, it can harm us.  In this module we will learn what movement practices work best for our unique body based on the Doshas, the nervous system and your current state of being so that our movement and exercise programs are supporting our nervous system, not burning it out. 

Phase 3: Optimizing + Mastering the mind 

Module 7: Mastering our mental nutrition + Embodying Pratyahara

The same way the food we eat nourishes the body, the things we consume mentally, either nourish or deplete the mind. In this section of the program we explore the concept of “mental nurition” and the Yogic limb of Pratyahara - or withdraw of the sense/attention. We will learn how we can embody this concept to support our mental nutrition/sensory intake, and ultimately regulate our nervous system for optimal performance.

Module 8: Meditation, Mindfulness + Ayurvedic/Yogic Psychology:

When we understand the mind, we can more deeply understand how to use, and control it instead of it controlling us. Using on and off the mat practices we go deeper into mastering the mind using powerful Yogic psychology, meditation, and mindfulness to clear out the noise, so we can step out of stress, overwhelm and anxiety and more fully into the present moment.

Phase 4: Embodying + Applying Subtle healing practices

Module 9: Aromatherapy, Gemstomes, and Healing with the elements

Once we have created shifts in the “needle movers” as I like to call them, we can then do more work on the subtle energy, and learn and understand how to use different gemstones/crystals, aromatherapy, colour therapy, Nature therapy and sound therapy to further support our goals.

Module 9 is actually a series of mini-modules teaching you how to use these subtle healing modalities within Ayurveda, in a way that takes into account your unique Dosha, and current nervous system state to further optimize your body and mind.

 BONUS! Phase 5 : Discovering and Embodying your Dharma

Module 10: Embodying your Dharma

Sometimes the path forward feels foggy and unclear because WE are foggy and unclear in our body and mind. By clearing out the clutter in our mind-body system we create space for the big vision we have for our lives to unfold, and we can step more powerfully into our purpose.

Inside these modules we go deeper into what dharma is, and how we can step more fully into our purpose and passion in a way that feels totally aligned we who we are, and with the energy, mental clarity and Self alignment to actually take steps toward it.

Essentially, we start with the physical body, and slowly move through the more subtle layers of our being to create lasting transformation. We also go deeper into the work around what you ACTUALLY want to do in life, and what your purpose is. But in my experience, getting clear in the body, and having integrity within our own energy is important first or we might make decisions that are out of alignment and reactionary, vs what we truly desire.

NOTE: While you can go through EA as a structured program, you can also look at it as a guide book; taking on the modules in a way that feels in alignment for YOU.

Meet your Mentor and Guide

Hi! I'm Mel,

Ayurvedic Wellness Counsellor, Meditation Teacher (and trainer), and Founder + Creator of Yogi Fuel.

I'm also the Mama to this adorable little human, Satya.

My struggle to cope with high stress, anxiety and the resulting burn out in my early twenties took me down a spiritual path that eventually led me to Yoga Ayurveda.

After experiencing the magic of Ayurveda, and having more energy and ease in my thirties (with a hella energetic 3.5 year old) than I did in my twenties, I've made it my mission to help people experience the same.

Now I help people all over the world take control over their stress, anxiety and fatigue using a potent blend of Yoga, Ayurveda and modern science.

A little more about my story 

Listen, I’ve been in the wellness industry for over a DECADE and worked with hundreds of clients *impressive whistle*

And I rode the struggle bus in my early and mid twenties with extreme burn out, stress and anxiety that became amplified after I sustained several concussions in my rugby career.

This left me with (what I now know to be) a hella dysregulated nervous system, and inability to cope with all the stresses that life was throwing at me.

 

This healing process took me down a deeply spiritual path.. and over many years I studied and practiced different techniques and methods individually and tried to put it together on my own:

  • I became a meditation teacher (and now teacher trainer)
  • I became a certified culinary nutritionist incorporating the food piece
  • I was already a personal trainer and kinesiologist so I knew the connection of movement with stress, energy and health..
  • And I knew there was a deeper spiritual component..  but I didn’t really know where to start.. or what to so.. So I started reading ALL THE BOOKS books on spirituality, and the Chakras, using sage and essential oils because I heard that was good..

But everything felt RANDOM.

It wasn’t until I learned about Ayurveda that lightbulbs, and sparkles and a parade of dancing unicorns went off in my mind..

And as I learned, and as I went deeper, and REEEALLY learned about Ayurveda I was like OMG.. it’s all here.

Literally, everything I needed, and KNEW intuitively that was going to help me.. Was there. In one system. That made total, and complete sense.

Here was this holistic system of SELF healing, this highly organized, scientific but spiritual system that helped me to understand WHY I was feeling how I was feeling and how all these symptoms were totally connected, and gave me a precise method, and tools for healing that made total sense, and actually worked.

So relatively quickly, as I began to implement this stuff, things changed. 

The fog lifted...

My energy and vitality came back...

And I finally felt like myself again.

I have witnessed deep transformation within myself, AND my students from around the world, and it would my priviledge to be able to teach this to you.
